Watch this wonderful documentary about the Passaic River. After the movie we will have a "talk-back" with two environmental/social justice heroes who have spent the past three decades advocating for cleanup of the river; Nancy Zak and Arnold Cohen.

Green Faith Eco-Service Project-Wildlife Habitat Area Rehab @ Trailside Nature & Science Center in Mountainside

Join our Green Faith Ministry members as we help Union County Park's Trailside refurbish the Wildlife Habitat Area located behind their Visitor's Center.  We will be raking, doing light weeding, planting and possibly spreading mulch. This is an important educational tool for visitors to the center, adults and children alike. By planting native plants, we will be inviting pollinators, birds and other wildlife into this space and these in turn can be viewed from the Visitor's Center.  Gardeners and non-gardeners alike will have fun helping out.  There will be something for everyone to do!  We will take a break for lunch then put the finishing touches on the garden afterwards!  Dress in clothes you don't mind getting a bit messy.
